Leaders And Their Delusions

by Van Robison

pastorThe LIGHT of the world is Jesus Christ. Atheists and Christ haters obviously don't see the Light, because their world is delusional. Leaders of people in both the secular and church world are a very confused group of human beings. If it were not so, then why is the church world divided into endless divisions of customs, traditions and doctrines? Remember that God is not divided, nor is He the author of confusion. And why is the political world divided into endless divisions and waring factions? Does it not speak loudly and clearly that leaders are in fact a very confused people? It is human to follow human leaders, and consequently, the masses of humanity are very much sheep-like, following their false shepherds.

There is no political leader on earth worthy of anyone's devotion. Faith in political and military leaders is a very misplaced faith, because these people ARE NOT the LIGHT of the world. Military "victories" are no assurance of eternal life and in fact, they are assurance of death and destruction, which imprisons all involved on every side. Even the "victors" of wars are prisoners of their own delusions, and have no clue of what real life on earth should be. Killing others in the name of "freedom" and "security" is pure propaganda. All wars are founded upon human greed and lust for geography, resources, power and control. All wars are always promoted by false passions of fighting for "freedom" or other massive lies against innocents. Wars are not for heroes; they are for anti-Christ. Wars are the instruments of liars, thieves and murderers. And those who truly seek to defend against war terrorists are blamed as the instigators by the real perpetrators of such evils. Defenders are labeled as "guerrillas" or "insurgents" or "terrorists", when the real terrorists are the perpetrators of wars, to which the public is massively lied to. The public media and press is the cause and blame of impassioned and outrageous support for wars that destroy life on earth.

Religious leaders are just as confused as anyone, because they all promote themselves as "spiritual elitists", who have some sort of "special" relationship with God that others do not and can not have. No matter what any church leader "thinks" he knows, he is a mere human being, very fallible, very subject to human nature, flesh and blood as are all others, and most likely is deceived on more issues than he knows. No logical thinking human being could possibly entertain that any published material, or any human being who ever lived is "infallible and inerrant" other than Jesus Christ. We are all subject to error in some aspects of our thinking. Human beings are not only liars, especially those who have no Christ consciousness, but they are also intentional deceivers, in the form of false prophets, false scribes (who write and proclaim "thus saith the Lord"), false pastors, false preachers, intentional infiltrators who are "change agents" to redirect people away from the truth in Jesus Christ and false apostles (meaning "envoy" or "one sent").

Church leaders who point others to themselves, to building physical buildings, to "prophesies" which they think they understand but don't, to perpetual money support for the agendas of false leaders, to organizations, to anything other than Jesus Christ, should NOT be followed. Jesus Christ did not come teaching that His sheep are to follow national church leaders, television preachers, megachurch pastors, celebrity preachers, denominational churches or even local churches. On the other hand, Jesus taught that we are to take up our cross daily and follow Him.

Church goers who submit to church leaders, because they have been made to fear these leaders, are not hearing the voice of Jesus Christ. Church goers who think they are "blessed" financially and materially because they are tithe payers, are not focused upon Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, but are deceived by false pastors who falsely promote tithing. Virtually every "pastor" is right in his own eyes, and those who follow pastors are clones of those pastors they follow. All who teach, should be weighed against the direct teachings of Jesus Christ in the four Gospels and even then, without the Holy Spirit, the truth will still not be understood. All pastors and church groups who hold seminars on the "Book of Revelation" should be viewed with the attitude that those who think they know and understand everything in this book, are only expressing an opinion, and they may well be in error--most if not all, always have been.

Placing undue allegiance and faith in human leaders is to miss the truth in Jesus Christ. Whether secular, political, military, religious or church leaders, virtually no leader is a substitute for Jesus Christ who said of Himself:
  • I AM the Way.
  • I AM the Truth.
  • I AM the Life.
  • I AM the Living Waters.
  • I AM the Bread of Life.
  • I AM the Manna from Heaven.
  • I AM the Light of the World.
  • I AM the Vine.
  • I AM the Door.
  • I AM the Resurrection.
  • I AM the Good Shepherd (Pastor/Leader).
  • You have ONLY ONE MASTER--CHRIST.
Those who cling to false leadership, even if they proclaim they represent Jesus Christ, in fact reject the truth in Christ. All the above points about Jesus Christ can be found in the four Gospels, and virtually none of those points were ever spoken by Jesus, about "the Bible", a man named Paul, nor your local or national or denominational leaders. Not only are human leaders very often delusional, but so also are their followers. Jesus stripped false religion from the religious leaders of His day, and that is why they railed upon Him--even unto the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. In general, church leaders even unto this day cannot stand to have their false power, false authority, false control, prestige and free money stripped from them, and will live until they die, defending their delusions.
