Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

There is more to the
discerning of "savage wolves" that goes even
beyond doctrine. Yet, as it is, many in the
church appear to have great difficulty in
judging for themselves as to whether what a man
teaches is representative of a pure gospel or
"another gospel." Paul could not have spelled it
out any clearer than when he wrote to the
Philippians, "For many walk, of whom I often
told you, and now tell you even weeping, that
they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose
end is destruction, whose god is their appetite,
and whose glory is in their shame, who set their
minds on earthly things" (Phil. 3:18-19).
