Zens) since I first discovered it 15 years ago,
I have come to appreciate the clarity, the
graciousness and the wisdom and practical
insights that Jon brings to the discussion
around church life. While there have been a
plethora of recent books on the subject of
church, in this brief little gem consisting of 4
"essays", Jon distills his many years of study,
observations and experience with helping many

Leaders And Their Delusions

The LIGHT of the world is Jesus
Christ. Atheists and Christ haters obviously
don't see the Light, because their world is
delusional. Leaders of people in both the
secular and church world are a very confused
group of human beings. If it were not so, then
why is the church world divided into endless
divisions of customs, traditions and doctrines?
Remember that God is not divided, nor is He the
author of confusion. And why is the political
world divided into endless divisions and waring
factions? Does it not speak loudly and clearly
that leaders are in fact a very confused people?
It is human to follow human leaders, and
consequently, the masses of humanity are very
much sheep-like, following their false
