Pied Pipers In The Pulpits

There was something magical about the flute playing of the Pied Piper. With his magical flute the children of the town of Hamelin followed the Pied Piper out of town where it is said that an underground passage opened up that led to Transylvania. Much like the magic of the Pied Piper of legend, our world today has many, many Pied Pipers. Pied Pipers play their magical flutes and the people cannot resist. In the world of Pied Pipers, the instruments are varied and the magical music played is all produced to seduce.

Pied Pipers are followed by millions the world over. There are many Pied Pipers in the world of politics. And there are many Pied Pipers in the world of religion. In the Christian world, Jesus Christ warned about listening to the seducing music of Pied Pipers. He said "Many will come in My name, saying I am Christ and deceive many." He said wolves come in sheep's clothing. Pied Pipers come with their colorful garb, fancy shoes, smiling faces, and most of all with their irresistible "music".

Oh, how the magical flutes give the sound of such pleasant music. The sounds of the magical flutes make the children float on air and leap and jump with joy. Not all Pied Pipers have the same sounds. Pied Pipers play their magical music and lead their followers into many different paths. The children simply cannot resist the magical music. Pied Pipers seduce the people into believing that they are following Jesus Christ, when in fact they are hearing the sounds of exotic musical notes out of tune with Christ, but nevertheless pleasant to hear.

Jesus said "My sheep hear my VOICE, I know them, and they follow Me", but many follow the magical music of Pied Pipers.
